Our Kynge Went Forth

Programme: Blondel Medieval & Renaissance band Blondel present: Owre Kynge Went Forth – Henry V and the Battle of Agincourt – told in words and music. This evening has been billed “A brilliant mix of authentic mediaeval music and well-chosen contemporary texts”.   Blondel are welcome back to the Festival, having played a wonderful candlelight concert in the atmospheric surrounds of Mundon church.  The interest in this trio means they are returning to play in a larger venue in 2023, but the candelight and the wonderful music played on historic instruments is bound to recreate the same magical atmosphere.
